Textile Screen Printing - Job Work
Ajanta Arts
45+ years of pigment screen printing, trusted by leading names across India.
What we do
Pigment screen printing, job work
We receive unprinted fabric, pigment screen print it to your design and color program, and deliver the finished goods back on schedule.
It's slow, hand-guided work by design, the same karigars doing the same motion the same way, order after order, so a run of a hundred pieces looks like it came off in a single pull. Forty-five years of that consistency is what clients come back for.
Turnaround is typically 10 to 15 days from when we receive your fabric, depending on order size, and our usual minimum is around 50 pieces or 5 thaans - happy to discuss smaller trial orders too.

About
A family-run print house in Mumbai

Ajanta Arts is a textile screen printing unit in Mumbai, Maharashtra. For over four decades, we have done job work for leading textile businesses across India.
Every order starts with the client's own design and colour program: the fabric, the pattern, the exact shade for each component. Our karigars print it by hand and by screen, pigment colour laid down piece by piece to that specification, before it goes back for finishing.
With 45+ years in the craft, we've built lasting relationships with textile businesses across India, delivering the same consistent quality whether the order is a single thaan or a full production run.
We work across formats and fabrics: sarees, thaans, suits, and dupattas, in cotton, polyester, silk, and more. Every piece passes through the same careful hands, from a hundred pieces of Top and Dupatta to fifteen thaans running over a thousand metres.
Our factory sits in Saree Compound, the heart of saree printing, within easy reach of Mumbai's textile markets. We handle pickup, printing, and delivery ourselves, so your fabric stays in careful hands from the day it leaves your premises to the day it returns, printed and ready.
Our mission
Proof that Make in India can mean craft, not just scale
For over forty-five years, we've run this on one idea: a hand-printed yard should look hand-printed, however large the order behind it. Every colour is still mixed by hand to the client's own program, every screen still pulled by the same karigars who have spent their working lives at this craft, piece after piece, order after order. That is what Make in India means to us here: not a label, but a standing promise that the work, start to finish, stays in Indian hands.
